"I have been blessed with good genes and haven't had to work out for most of my life. I have always HATED working out and have basically, except for a bit here and there, avoided it at all costs. As a matter of fact, me working out regularly was pretty much considered to be one of the Seven Signs that our world was indeed coming to an end!
"Enter 3 kids, turning 42, and Lara. I realized I had to do something to keep fit and that good genes just weren't going to cut it anymore. So I decided to start working out. Lara was recommended to me and I went in for a consultation. Nearly a year later I am still working out with her twice a week and I love it! It's actually fun! I can't believe I'm saying those words, but they are true. And I look and feel great. And even though I've been thin all my life, "thin" and "toned" are two very different things. I've even started getting comments that let me know all this hard work is paying off!

"Lara makes getting ripped FUN!!! I look forward to my workouts with her. I know that I'm going to get a killer workout everytime and I don't have to think about what to do next, because she's already screaming it in my ear!! When I went to see Lara BenEzra in June, 2007, I had a goal to complete a marathon. I am 56 and a vegetarian, so I wanted a total program of nutrition and fitness. Through several personal sessions and many emails (I live over 100 miles from Nashville), Lara set me up on workouts of increasing intensity. She showed me stretches to prevent soreness or injuries. At no time did I feel overwhelmed. She gave me sound nutritional advice and recipes. She approved a weekly plan as I worked toward my marathon.
On February 16, 2008, I completed my first marathon. I felt great during the entire 26.2 miles and though tired, had minimal soreness. One thing that really helped was Lara's positive attitude. She always expressed confidence in me and encouraged me to go for it.
